Frank's West Coast duck & dove operations occur in the coastal, agriculturally rich areas of the states of Sonora and Sinaloa, from October 31 - March 2. Ducks are hunted in the shallow estuaries and mangrove swamps off of the Sea of Cortez . The marshes are inhabited by hundreds of thousands of pintail, gadwall, green, blue, and cinnamon teal,canvasback, widgeon, redheads,Pacific black brant, and many more. Mourning dove and whitewings are hunted in and around the vast agricultural areas of the region.
Your hunt begins upon your arrival in Ciudad Obregon. Frank's guides will pick you up and transport you to the lodge, where you will be greeted with fresh cold margaritas. Accomodations and food is supurb, and the bar is always open.
Restrictions on bringing guns into Sonora, Mexico have been relaxed, and it now possible to bring your own gun[s] with little problem. It is advisable to have your gun[s] registered through your local Customs office and bring your copy with you.
